CCAA Leadership Featured Speaker at
World Trade Center-New Orleans

Washington, D.C.–CCAA announced today that Anton Edmunds, the organization’s Executive Director and CEO will be the featured speaker at a breakfast briefing Friday, October 10, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the World Trade Center New Orleans. Edmunds is scheduled to speak on “Central America and the Caribbean: Sustainability of the Region,” with a focus on opportunities and challenges to business.

With rising fuel and commodity prices, and the challenges posed by the current financial crisis, the countries of Central America and the Caribbean are facing an array of threats to the sustainability of economic development in the region. “I look forward to speaking to the business community of New Orleans;” commented Edmunds, “World Trade Center New Orleans has long been involved in conducting a wide range of programs related to trade in the Caribbean and Central America region.”
